Pico da Tijuca is the culmination of the Tijuca National Park and undoubtedly has one of the most incredible views of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
From the top of its 1021 m of altitude, we have a privileged 360° view where we can see all the regions of the city and also a good part of other cities in the metropolitan region.

The trail is moderate, the walk to the highest point of the peak takes about 2:30 h and has an average distance of 7.5 km (one way),
During the trip we passed by some other incredible places already inside the Tjica Forest such as: Cascatinha Taunay, Capela Mayrink and Cachoeira das Almas.
During the entire journey there are great chances of seeing animals such as: Coatis, Tamarins, Capuchin Monkeys, Toucans,
Lizards etc…
